HERNDON, Virginia, December 3, 2025 — Piedmont Fund Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Hladek as President of Piedmont Credit Services, the firm’s newly formed division dedicated to serving private credit, distressed, structured, and other complex credit strategies. Keith will also join as an equity owner in the business he is helping to create.
With more than two decades of experience across the alternative investment industry, Keith brings deep operational, financial, and governance expertise to Piedmont. His background spans across senior leadership positions at leading credit-focused investment firms, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the unique accounting, data, and reporting challenges facing today’s credit managers.
Prior to joining Piedmont, Keith served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Harbinger Capital Partners, and as Chief Operating Officer of HC2 Holdings, Inc., a NYSE-listed company. He previously supported numerous credit and distressed credit funds as Controller of Silver Point Capital, Assistant Controller at GoldenTree Asset Management, and fund accounting role at Oak Hill Capital Management. Keith began his career in public accounting at Anchin, Block & Anchin in 1997.
Beyond his operating experience, Keith has served on the Board of Directors of several public and private companies, including participation on multiple audit and compensation committees, further strengthening his governance and oversight credentials.
Building a World-Class Credit Administration Platform
In his new role as President, Keith will oversee all aspects of Piedmont Credit Services, leading the build-out of a specialized fund administration platform designed from the ground up for credit-focused managers. The division will serve strategies including private credit, direct lending, special situations, distressed, structured credit, off-the-run assets, and other bespoke mandates requiring high-precision accounting and sophisticated operational support.
Piedmont Credit Services will bring together Piedmont’s proprietary technology, global team, and institutional service model to help credit managers navigate increasingly complex asset types, leverage structures, waterfalls, and investor reporting requirements.
Keith Hladek, President, Piedmont Credit Services commented: “I’m thrilled to be joining Piedmont and to build a truly world-class credit fund administration business. Private credit and special situations strategies continue to grow in both scale and complexity—from bespoke loans to distressed and off-the-run assets. Managers need an administration partner who understands these nuances and can deliver precise accounting and operational support. I’m excited to help build this platform from the ground up and create a solution that truly meets the sophistication of today’s credit markets.”
