On June 24, 2026, Piedmont welcomed a select group of private equity and private fund CFOs to Creighton Farms in Aldie, Virginia, for a day of networking, conversation, and community-building among finance leaders from across the Washington, D.C. region.
The gathering is part of Piedmont’s ongoing effort to foster meaningful connections within the private funds industry. While CFOs regularly interact through calls, meetings, and transactions, there are fewer opportunities to simply spend time together, exchange ideas, and build relationships with peers in the region. Piedmont aims to create an environment where candid discussions and lasting professional relationships can develop.
Attendees enjoyed a round of golf on one of Northern Virginia’s premier private courses, while others participated in a golf clinic led by a Creighton Farms golf professional. The event concluded with a luncheon reception, providing additional opportunities for participants to connect, exchange perspectives, and continue conversations that began on and off the course.
Throughout the day, discussions covered a range of topics impacting today’s private investment firms, from market conditions and operational challenges to leadership priorities and industry trends. Equally valuable were the opportunities to reconnect with longtime colleagues, meet new peers, and expand professional networks within the region’s private equity community.
